New Year's Resolutions for BC's Premier
(a 12 step programme)

1. Stop picking on senior citizens.

2. Show compassion for those less fortunate.

3. Conclude 2003 with a least one positive contribution to the environment.

4. Don't be the last person in the province to know when to change course.

5. Do no harm.

6. Share information.

7. Consult.

8. Set realistic goals that don't include extremes such as "best", "most", or "lowest".

9. Help everyone feel that they matter.

10. Be honest, admit that a freeze is a cut.

11. Apologize when errors are made.

12. Truly make education the top priority.
