Email from an MLA

The "constituent" who forwarded the following note has had his identify replaced with "constituent". Blair Lekstrom is the MLA who stood in the legislature and spoke about how wonderful Gordon Campbell is to let him exercise a "free" vote. Duh, that's real courage Blair. Make sure you don't lose your place on the song sheet. With notes like this to constituents, you might qualify as a candidate for recall.

For a person who doesn't know me and who obviously has no clue what he's talking about I thought I would respond to you for the first and last time letting you know I have filed your Email in the garbage where it obviously belongs. How's that for sincere

I commend you for standing up for what is right and voting against your parties line. However I don't believe that there was an ounce of sincerity to your stand. You were the token "free vote" If you want to make a real difference for this Province: stand up and cross the floor and give the Province and Gordon Campbell's Liberal Dictatorship your real opposition.

Note: While the term "constituent" is used in the above notes to protect the privacy of the person who corresponded with Mr. Lekstrom, the writer does not live in Mr. Lekstrom's constituency. From the email Mr. Lekstrom would not know that and it makes no difference to the reply. There is no excuse for the rude, offensive response sent by Mr. Lekstrom.
