Benefits
in the very long run?
Premier
Campbell has an interesting sense of timing and order.
On
blind faith with no business plan he dramatically cut taxes
for high income earners. Now we see service cuts and user
fees that will claw back the modest tax breaks received
by those who don't earn as much salary as was given to the
President of the Liberal Party when he was appointed Deputy
Minister to the Premier.
In
recent interviews the Premier has been asked for some details
on when the tax cuts will work, what services will be cut
and how our water will be protected. His answers are like
a wind up doll that speaks just what is recorded when you
pull the string. It is time for some real answers about
a plan B.
In
the long run we will all be dead. Some would like their
benefits sooner. Let's not be hurried to the end by a failing
safety net.
